FROZEN TREE is an Original Sumi-e Painting.
It was still autumn, but that morning it was below freezing due to radiative cooling. Hoarfrost was densely attached to each of the thin branches of the tree that had just dropped its leaves. I represented the tree with a strong presence that has both its delicacy and strength.
まだ秋でしたが、その朝は放射冷却で氷点下でした。葉を落としたばかりの樹木の細い枝の一本一本に、霧氷がびっしりと付いていました。その繊細さと力強さを合わせ持つ存在感あるその樹木をわたしは表現してみました。
