Sculpture representing the trunk and branches of tree. In creating my works, I represent trees that live in harsh natural environments where they are affected by strong winds and snow, especially the undulating trunks of giant trees and the twisted branches of trees. 樹木の幹や枝を表現した彫刻。 作品の制作において、激しい風や雪の影響を受ける厳しい自然環境の中で生きる樹木たち、特にうねる巨木の幹や、ねじれた木々の枝々を表現しています。
CEDAR HOLLOW
A giant cedar tree that seems to be over 1,000 years old. As I was walking in the bright woods where the refreshing morning light came, I came across the wonderful tree. I intended to have drawn a tree hollow, but it became like a phoenix. 樹齢1,000年を超えていそうな杉の巨樹。爽やかな朝の光が訪れた明るい森の中を歩いている時に、その樹木に出会いました。大きな樹洞を描いたつもりでしたが、まるで鳳凰のようになりました。

Giant trees with large hollows or caverns have a unique, undulating form, born from the numerous diverse experiences they have had throughout their long lives, giving off a sense of power and energy. 大きな樹洞や洞窟を持つ巨樹はその長い生き様の中での数多くの様々な経験がその独特のうねりをつくり出し、力強さやエネルギーを感じさせる。

Introducing my chisels
I made a video introducing all the chisels I use regularly. When I got some chisels, I first got some sturdy fabric, needles, and thread that were suitable for them, and made these two types of chisel wraps myself. After that, little by little, their number gradually increased. 使用している鑿たちを紹介する動画を撮りました。いくつかの鑿を手に入れた時、まず初めに彼らに適した丈夫な布と針と糸を手に入れ、この2種類の鑿巻きを作りました。その後少しずつ彼らの仲間が増えました。
