KIDEKIWOHORU - 木で樹を彫る

Sculpture representing the trunk and branches of tree. In creating my works, I represent trees that live in harsh natural environments where they are affected by strong winds and snow, especially the undulating trunks of giant trees and the twisted branches of trees. 樹木の幹や枝を表現した彫刻。作品の制作において、激しい風や雪の影響を受ける厳しい自然環境の中で生きる樹木たち、特にうねる巨木の幹や、ねじれた木々の枝々を表現しています。

CEDAR HOLLOW

A giant cedar tree that seems to be over 1,000 years old. As I was walking in the bright woods where the refreshing morning light came, I came across the wonderful tree. I intended to have drawn a tree hollow, but it became like a phoenix. 樹齢1,000年を超えていそうな杉の巨樹。爽やかな朝の光が訪れた明るい森の中を歩いている時に、その樹木に出会いました。大きな樹洞を描いたつもりでしたが、まるで鳳凰のようになりました。

SPACE

The branches dance freely in the space, but then come together at the top. The greater the freedom, the richer the expressions of light and shadow. 枝々が空間の中でそれぞれ自由に踊りながら上部で結集します。自由さが増すほど、光と影の表情が豊かになります。
