The color near the bark is reddish and beautiful. The feel when carving reminds me of red clay. Feeling the difference from other parts, I think about how this tree has grown. I want to preserve as much of this beautiful color as possible.
樹皮のすぐ近くの色は赤みを帯びていて、とても美しい。彫っているときの感触は赤土を思い出させます。他の部分との違いを感じながら、この樹木がどのように成長してきたのかに思いを馳せる。この美しい色をなるべく多く残したいと思います。
