I love the grain pattern that appears when carving against the grain of the wood. The more I carve now, the more it appears, so I'm obsessed. In this piece, I considered a design that allows you to enjoy this grain in a wide range of areas. It's texture I can't help but touch it.

木目に逆らって彫ったときにあらわれる木目模様がとても好きです。今は彫れば彫るほどそれがあらわれるので夢中になっています。この作品ではこの木目を広い範囲で楽しむことができるデザインを熟考しました。つい触れたくなる触り心地です。
