It is about 7 cm (1.5 in) piece of magnolia wood. I plan to carve a small but complex tree shape with five branches. Precisely because it is a soft wood, I want to try carving a shape that I am able to create.

7cmほどの朴の木材です。小さいながらも5本の枝々を持つ複雑なかたちの樹木を彫る予定です。やわらかな木材だからこそ、つくり出せるかたちを彫ってみたいです。
