Roughly and boldly, rough shapes are carved. When carved roughly, the wood shavings are also scattered roughly. The rougher I carve, the rougher my mind becomes, so I sometimes have to restrain myself from carving too much so that I don't make mistakes.

荒々しく、大胆に、大まかな形が彫られていく。荒々しく彫れば、木屑たちも荒々しく散らばります。荒々しく彫れば彫るほど、わたしの心も荒々しくなっていくため、彫りすぎて失敗しないように時々行き過ぎる気持ちを抑えなければなりません。
