In the previous work on cypress wood, it was carved thin and wide. With mountain cherry wood, I would love to explore a carving method that is suitable for the extremely hard and dense wood and pursue a more technically difficult design. It weighs a hefty 2,649g.

前回のひのき材では薄く広い範囲で彫りました。山桜材では、大変硬くて密度の濃い山桜材に相応しい彫りかたを模索し、技術的により困難なデザインを追求していきたいと思います。重さは2,649gもあり、ひのき材の倍の重さです。
