There were four corners, and I have finally begun carving the last one. As the overall shape has become more rounded, and because I am carving against the grain in this direction, I am proceeding slowly but with firm pressure, whilst maintaining a careful balance.

4つの角がありましたが、ついに最後の角を彫り始めました。全体的に丸みを帯びた形状になってきたことと、この向きは木目に逆らって彫っているためにバランスを取りながら少しずつ、しかし力を込めて彫っています。
