WAVE
WAVE is a Wood Sculpture Art.
There was a big discovery that pursuing a simple design with only one branch would remove the bottom. My previous works didn’t paint on the bottom, but for the first time I wanted to create it a shape that can fully paint. I also thought that the simple design was low on the level of difficulty, but It was never so. It was betrayed in a good mean.
枝が1本だけのシンプルなデザインを追求すると底がなくなるという大きな発見がありました。これまでの作品では底まで塗装していませんでしたが、初めて全面に塗れる形にしてみたくなりました。シンプルなデザインなので難易度が低いかなとも思いましたが、決してそんなことはありませんでした。良い意味で裏切られました。

The sculpture is made from a single piece of wood, and it is the only one of its kind in the world. The wood grown for sustainable forestry is used. The 'KIDEKIWHORU' logo is engraved on it. The paint is safe because it is made from natural materials and it doesn't almost smell. Depending on each monitor, the colors may differ slightly from the actual work.
